Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request an inspection or submit a form, call, text, or email us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, property or service address, project details, images or documents you share, and any other information you choose to provide.
Insurance and project information
If we assist with a property-insurance claim, we may collect information related to that claim, such as your carrier, claim or policy number, adjuster contact, scope documents, and photographs of the property. We collect this only as needed to perform the work you request.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we and our providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and interactions with the site, using cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).
Information from third parties
We may receive information from property managers, referral partners, realtors, insurers, or public sources when they engage us or refer you to us. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information and ask that you not send it to us unless necessary for your project.
How we use your information
We use your information to: respond to inquiries and schedule inspections; prepare estimates and perform contracted work; coordinate and document insurance claims when you ask us to; communicate with you by phone, email, and text; process payments and maintain records; improve our website and services; comply with legal obligations; and protect our rights, property, and safety.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you give us your phone number, we may contact you by text about your specific request — for example, to confirm an inspection or coordinate your project. We do not currently operate an automated or marketing text-messaging program. If we introduce one in the future, we will update this Policy and honor all applicable consent and opt-out requirements. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP or telling us directly, and message and data rates may apply. We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, measure traffic, and understand how visitors use our pages. We may use third-party tools such as Google Analytics and embedded Google Maps, and social media features linked to Facebook and Instagram. These providers may collect information subject to their own privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect how the site functions.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- Service providers and subcontractors who help us operate the business or perform work (for example, hosting, analytics, communications, scheduling, payment processing, and trade subcontractors), under obligations to protect the information.
- Insurance carriers, adjusters, and related parties when you ask us to assist with a claim.
- Professional advisors such as attorneys, accountants, and insurers.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others.
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain business and warranty records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal, tax, and insurance requirements, after which we securely delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights (Texas and other states)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: confirm whether we process your personal data; access a copy of it; correct inaccuracies; request deletion; obtain a portable copy; and opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or certain profiling.
Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA). California residents may have similar rights under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any right, contact us at michael@restored-construction.com or (469) 370-0008. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
